Founded in the early part of the last century around the region's logging and mining industries, the communities of the Mesabi TrailSM have grown over the years into so much more. From performing arts to fiber arts, antiques to boutiques, and craft fairs to county fairs, there are plenty of events and things to see and do in the region. We invite you to explore these communities online, so when you're here, you'll know where you'd like to stop for ice cream, for a swim, for a meal, or even spend the whole day. There's no shortage of city parks and picnic spots, either. Don't forget, the proximity of the Mesabi TrailSM communities to each other means if you can't find what you're looking for in one town, try the next!
