Sunday, July 13, 2008 - Tour of Saints is not a race. It's a heavenly little ride along lightly traveled roads through the summer-rich landscape of Central Minnesota. Food and rest stops along the way feature Cold Spring Bakery goodies and a variety of fresh fruit and thirst-quenching drinks. Cyclists from more than 200 cities and towns and from Minnesota's border states make this annual pilgrimage to take part in the Tour of Saints.

Saturday, August 16, 2008. The 7TH Annual Gitchi-Gami Trail Association North Shore Bike Ride begins and ends in scenic Gooseberry Falls State Park on the North Shore of Lake Superior between Two Harbors and Beaver Bay. This is a very scenic ride that also travels through Split Rock Lighthouse State Park on the newly paved Gitchi-Gami State Trail. The ride begins at 9 am with a choice of 28 or 55 miles. Rest stops are provided and all adults get a nice T shirt.

Sunday, September 7, 2008 - The Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour is a mission related fund raiser for NEC (Neighborhood Energy Connection). The Bike Classic hosts 7,000 riders annually on the second Sunday of September. Riders enjoy a 15 or 30 mile ride through some of Saint Paul's most scenic neighborhoods. Live music, great food, and hundreds of friendly volunteers have made the Bike Classic a signature event for the region.

The Cannon Valley Trail is a 19.7 mile long trail that runs through diverse and spectacular scenery on a former Chicago Great Western Railroad line connecting the cities of Cannon Falls, Welch and Red Wing in beautiful southeastern Minnesota. Paralleling the Cannon river, the Trail offers glimpses and panoramas of the valley and gradually descends 115 feet in elevation from Cannon Falls to Red Wing. From overhanging cliffs to views of extensive wetland complexes, nature's seasonal changes are vividly displayed. The Trail is open for bicycling, in-line skating, skateboarding, hiking walking and cross country.
