Planning a trip to northeastern Minnesota to ride the scenic Mesabi Trail? Traversing more than 135 miles through 28 communities, the Mesabi TrailTM presents a truly unique experience for bicyclists, hikers and in-line skaters. It can also present some logistical challenges.
Say you've decided on lodging in Hibbing and you want to ride the 25 miles of trail to Virginia, but you don't want to ride back to your hotel. What do you do? Call the Mesabi Trail Shuttle Service. We'll pick up you and your bike (or bikes) and transport you back to your hotel. All you have to do is enjoy the ride!
The Mesabi Trail Shuttle Service is available from Grand Rapids to Ely and all points in between. We can transport up to 8 bikes and passengers per trip. Shuttle prices vary with distance and travel time from Mesabi Station in Eveleth.
For example: pick up in Grand Rapids, drop off in Virginia (120 miles) = $78 for one rider.
Hibbing to Virginia (50 miles) = $35 for one rider.
Add $10 for each additional rider up to eight.

For regular shuttle service, please make sure to call a few days in advance to determine shuttle availability and to set up a reservation. If you leave a message, be sure to give us your contact information including a cell phone number. You can confirm your reservation with a credit card at least 24 hours before your scheduled pick up by calling the number listed below between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Cancellations less that 24 hours prior to schedule shuttle will be charged a 25% cancellation fee (inclement weather is an exception).

If your bike breaks down on the trail, relax and call us - emergency pick-ups are available. After normal hours of operation, emergency pick-ups may be requested by calling 218-780-4541. After hours service cannot be guaranteed. For emergencies requiring police or medical assistance, dial 911.
May 1-31: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
June 1- Aug 31: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sept 1 - Oct 15: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
