From foot races to bicycle tours, the Mesabi TrailSM is open for activities and events that respect our rules for nonmotorized traffic only in summer, and designated snowmobile trail sections in winter. The Mesabi TrailSM is the site of an annual Fourth of July "Two Town Ten Trillion" race between Nashwauk and Keewatin and the annual Great River Energy / Mesabi Trail Tour. Other biking events that draw riders from around the country, and in-line skating, group walks for charity or just for fun are all welcome. Contact our offices for more information about events on the Mesabi Trail.
