The Greyhound Story...From Hibbing to Everywhere. Hibbing is recognized as the birthplace of the bus industry in the U.S. Visit this world class museum and relive the story told with artifacts, 18 buses, audio visual presentations and exhibits.
The Museum tells the story of Hibbing, "The Town That Moved", through photographs & exhibits, including scale models of the city in 1893 & 1913. Defining the transition from underground to open pit mining, the museum features a "Decades" display of artifacts beginning with the 1870s, as well as logging & mining artifacts. Open Tues through Fri, 10 am to 2 pm or open anytime by appointment.
